Adam Rainoff Photographer | Conservation photographer

Biography
I photograph birds and wild places alongside the communities that protect them, using my images to drive awareness, support sustainable tourism and help keep those places wild.
My work today centers on Latin America and Asia. I hike mountain trails, push through deep jungle and shoot from small boats, always handheld. I use a Canon R5, the RF 800mm f/11 and a 1.4x extender, which gives me 1120mm of high-quality reach in a package light enough to carry anywhere. Nothing else reaches birds like it.
My photographs have supported campaigns for the World Monuments Fund and conservation efforts connected to the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, BirdWeather and Programa de Aves Urbanas Colombia. One of my images was published in National Geographic Travel España. I share my images and stories with a large social media audience, so travelers can discover these places and visit them responsibly.
